At the end of 2009 construction started with the refurbishment and facelift of the Centurion Mall Ster Kinekor. The cinema capacity will be expanded with the addition of two new screens bring the total number of screens to six when the new multiplex is completed. Currently the first of the four cinemas are operational. The construction on the two new screens is anticipated to be finished by the end of March 2010.

The new renovated cinemas will follow the benchmark set by other multiplexes in the Ster-Kinekor Theatres chain: contemporary design, extra comfort full size seating and full Dolby SR sound.
